Odor sensing offers significant opportunities for health, lifestyle, and environmental monitoring. Yet, existing sensor technologies remain limited by low sensitivity, high power consumption, and challenges in system integration.

This project introduces resonant MEMS mass-sensitive sensors as a novel and orthogonal sensing approach to overcome these limitations and enable the reliable detection of a broad range of volatile biomarkers. This technology could pave the way for compact, low-power odor-sensing platforms for everyday and clinical applications.
