Investigates structural vibrations and noise propagation in buildings, focusing on sources (e.g., machinery, traffic), transmission paths, and mitigation strategies. Applications include environmental noise control and structural health monitoring. The research unit is involved in the HEU-MSCA-DN project, VAMOR (Vibro-Acoustic Model Order Reduction), and in the development of standard codes within the NALS (DIN/VDI Standards Committee for Acoustics, Noise Control, and Vibration Engineering).
