Emma Neuner joined us as a student assistant in mid-April. She will be working as a project assistant in collaboration with our colleague Johannes Suitner on the  SIAMESE project, opens in new window (Social Innovation for Adaptation to Mitigation. Experimentation for Transformative Climate Governance).

The SIAMESE research project is concerned with the question of how transformational experiments in the context of climate governance can contribute to advancing social change and climate protection. It examines social innovations that change the way major societal challenges are dealt with by means of tailor-made solutions and promote transformative change. SIAMESE analyses experimental projects in the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation in Austria to understand what facilitates their emergence. The insights gained will be pooled in a hub that brings together experimental approaches and supports transformative climate governance.

We warmly welcome Emma and wish her every success in her work.
