During the summer semester of 2026, the course “Energy and Climate-Related Analysis and Planning,” supervised by Hartmut Dumke and Daniel Youssef, took place as part of Master’s Elective Module 4, “Mobility and Energy Spatial Planning.”

On June 17, 2026, the students organized the final presentation as a poster walk in Traiskirchen. This time, the focus was on the municipalities of Pfaffstätten and Traiskirchen in Lower Austria, as part of the Thermenlinie climate and energy model region.

Four student groups discussed their findings on the current situation and scenarios with Mayors Sabrina Divoky and Christoph Kainz, as well as with KEM Manager Daniel Youssef, and among themselves. Topics included energy conservation, the expansion of renewable energy, and settlement structures for efficient and environmentally friendly mobility.

All results will be published in a joint publication this fall.
