Analysis and management of regional decision-making, integrated development planning, visualizations

Dominik Ebenstreit grew up in the Weinviertel region and currently lives and works in Vienna and East Tyrol. While still a student of spatial planning and spatial research, as well as cartography and geoinformation, he founded a firm specializing in spatial planning and cartography, through which he is particularly active in regional development planning and regional analysis. His master’s thesis on the development of town centers was awarded the Austrian Geographical Society’s Sponsorship Prize and the Bavarian Academy for Rural Areas’ Recognition Prize. Starting in 2021, he served as an extern lecturer at the Institute of Geography and Regional Research and at the Postgraduate Center—both at the University of Vienna. His primary area of expertise lies at the intersection of spatial analysis, strategic planning, and (carto-)graphic visualization.
