Have you read the new newspaper article about our Mo.Hub project yet?

As part of our Mo.Hub project, mobility stations are being set up at three locations in Vienna (1070, 1090 and Seestadt Aspern). What does the mobility of the future look like in your district? For us the mission is clear: sharing offers and an attractive design of recreational spaces contribute significantly to a sustainable mobility!

What is the Mo.Hub project about?

The Mo.Hub research project aims to combine diverse mobility offers with attractive public space in the Grätzl (Austrian term for neighbourhood). This is done by means of mobility stations - the so-called Mo.Hubs.
The hubs are developed together with the residents of the Grätzl, businesses, mobility service providers, politicians and the responsible administration.
As mobility stations, the Mo.Hubs link mobility offers and services from e-bikes and e-scooters to car-sharing vehicles - a demand-oriented means of transport for all journeys. They thus promote intermodal, seamless and sustainable mobility. The shared use of vehicles means that fewer private cars are needed. Therefore, more space is available on the streets, which means better accessibility for all those who are already travelling without a private car. At the same time, it is an opportunity to switch from the little-used car to other mobility services. This can replace the private car in the long term and save money.

Freed-up space in public areas can be used for new mobility and attractive recreational areas. This means more space for:

  • other forms of mobility such as cycling and walking
  • green space and recreational facilities
  • and much more ...

As part of the project, mobility stations are being built in the 7th district, the 9th district and in the Seestadt Aspern.
