The MOVE.Walks course

As already announced in the last post, this summer semester a new MOVE course format has been introduced, the so-called MOVE.Walks. Accompanied by experts from different fields such as politics, planning, administration, etc., the students explore different corners of Vienna and can ask them about their work and urban / mobility planning topics.

MOVE.Walk 2 | Favoriten

The second walk also had Favoriten (1100 Vienna) as its destination. This time, however, the focus was on the Supergrätzl and not on bicycle traffic or bicycle infrastructure.

The students and their course supervisors Martin Berger and Florian Pühringer visited the pilot project , opens an external URL in a new windowSupergrätzl, opens an external URL in a new window in the 10th district . However, that was not all. Other projects such as the redesign of Quellenplatz, opens an external URL in a new window were also discussed during the walk.

This time, the group was accompanied by Valentin Gebhardt (project manager | City of Vienna MA 18 | Urban Development and Planning) and Georg Wieser (Studio LAUT) who provided the students with advice and support during the exploration. A big thank you to Valentin and Georg for all the information!

All good things come in threes - stay tuned for more!
