We are delighted that our TIKTAK Galilei project has won two awards at this year's VCÖ Mobility Awards! One year after the redesign, this means that the project has been a complete success. The conversion of the former residential street into a (temporary) pedestrian zone with a variety of street furniture, plants and floor paintings has not only significantly improved safety at the elementary school location, but also created a new quality of life. The result is an additional open space for playing, lingering and relaxing—in the middle of a densely built-up existing neighborhood. We are excited to see how the Galileigasse will develop in the coming years!
