We were pleased to welcome two project partners from Bowen University Iwo, Nigeria, as part of our ongoing Africa-UniNet collaboration, in which Gabriela Eder from our Molecular Microbiology group is involved.
Led by Fabian Amman from the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft Institute for Science Outreach and Pandemic Preparedness (LBI SOAP) at the Medizinische Universität Wien, the project focuses on wastewater monitoring in non-sewered settings. During their visit, the team conducted preliminary experiments, discussed methodological aspects, and refined the next steps for the project.
Our colleagues also spent a day at our institute and laboratory at TU Wien, offering a valuable opportunity for scientific exchange.
We are looking forward to continuing this international collaboration!
