Long periods of sitting, screen work, and full to-do lists characterize the everyday working life of many people. The digital health coach BüroBuddy addresses this issue and makes it easy for us to actively think about our health. Short exercise, relaxation, and mindfulness sessions help to relieve tension, reduce stress, and develop new healthy routines—in the office, at home, or on the go.
For employees of TU Wien, the project will run for four months and offer a wide range of digital health services: BüroBuddy provides individually tailored exercises, supplemented by quick fixes for in between, mental breaks, and everyday nutrition tips. Joint challenges provide additional motivation and make healthy working an integral part of everyday working life.
What BüroBuddy offers
- Individual exercise plans with short sessions of 2–5 minutes
- Quick fixes ranging from relaxation to strengthening, available at any time
- Mindfulness, breathing, and relaxation exercises for short mental breaks
- Practical nutrition tips for everyday work
- Motivational challenges to help everyone stay on track
- Use on PC, tablet, or smartphone
- GDPR-compliant and secure processing of all data (anonymous use is also possible)

Registration and participation
Participation in the project is limited in time and the number of places is limited. Once the quota has been filled, a waiting list will be set up.
