femTUme is a professional and scientific women’s network of the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at TU Wien. Its mission is to promote the visibility, networking, and long-term advancement of women in research, teaching, and industry. The annual Women’s Research Congress provides an important platform for interdisciplinary exchange, networking, and the presentation of ongoing research activities across the faculty.

During the congress, female researchers from both research groups presented current research projects and scientific work. Among others, the projects WELDNET, COIN, and ReMAIntAIn were showcased, offering insights into ongoing research at the intersection of production, maintenance, logistics, and quality management. Sara Scheffer, Iasmina Solovastru, Milena Mann, Brenda Özyilmaz, Isabella Ruthofer, Sareh Aghaei, Atieh Karbasi, Stamatia-Chara Chachlaki, and Karina Muriasova presented and participated.

The congress provided a valuable opportunity to present research results to a broad academic audience, gain new impulses, and further strengthen interdisciplinary exchange within the faculty.

We would like to thank femTUme for organizing this inspiring event and are pleased about the strong involvement of our female researchers in promoting excellent research.
