Visit from Susanne Lackner

Susanne Lackner gives a lecture — Prof. Dr. Susanne Lackner, TU Darmstadt

We were very lucky and happy to welcome Prof. Susanne Lackner and her PhD researcher Oliver Das from Wasser und Umweltbiotechnologie, IWAR as part of our Water Quality Management seminar series.
Prof. Lackner gave an engaging talk entitled “Membrane-aerated biofilm reactors in wastewater treatment – from theory to practice and back”, sharing exciting research insights and first real-world experiences with innovative reactor concepts.
Beyond the lecture, we enjoyed lively discussions and a valuable exchange on current challenges and future directions in wastewatertreatment research.
