Start of the Februarseminars 2026

The ÖWAV - Österreichischer Wasser- und Abfallwirtschaftsverband Februarseminar 2026 has started.
This year we focus on industrial wastewater.
280 participants and 21 sponsors confirm that the program designed under the lead of Jörg Krampe addresses a highly relevant and timely topic. Considering that about half of the population equivalent wastewater load in Austria is generated by industry, this is no surprise.
Today we will focus on the legal framework, the challenges of indirect discharges and specific operational experiences from industrial parks and production facilities.
Tomorrow we will shift the focus on planning and further developing wastewater treatment plants, as well as specific pollutants such as PFAS and phosphorus, and the environmental impact of industrial discharges.
We look forward to two intensive days of exchange!
