Reinforcement in Structural Concrete

Today, Prof. Patrick Huber had the pleasure of delivering an online keynote on reinforcement in reinforced concrete construction as part of the Group Exchange on Reinforcement ("Konzernaustausch Bewehrung") at STRABAG.

The lecture covered a wide range of important topics for the future of concrete construction: fundamentals and standards, substitutability of different steel grades, sustainability, non-metallic reinforcement, and stainless steel reinforcement.

It was impressive to see how many experts at STRABAG are involved in reinforcement procurement - once again highlighting both the scale of Austria’s largest construction company and the continuing importance of structural concrete .
