Yesterday, Norbert Kreuzinger participated as wastewater and quaternary treatment expert in the “Pharmatalk: Balancing Act Between Environmental Goals and Supply Security” event.

At this important event, which was organised at the Austrian Parliament, he discussed the implications of the KARL/UWWTD recast and the PFAS regulations alongside representatives from the pharmaceutical industry and ministries.

It was encouraging to see that the pharmaceutical industry and the water sector share the same objectives with regard to ensuring water quality and drinking water safety, and to experience an open discussion in an atmosphere of mutual respect. These are fundamental prerequisites for finding solutions to complex challenges. The setting in Parliament was the perfect backdrop for the event and also symbolised our constructive collaboration. Let's continue this kind of dialogue!
