PDESoft 2026

From 13–15 July 2026, TU Wien hosted the PDESoft 2026 – PDE Software Frameworks Conference in the TUtheSky.

PDESoft 2026 Conference at TU Wien

PDESoft was organized by Dr. Joachim Schöbel and Dr. Markus Wess (Computational Mathematics in Engineering Research Group). The conference brought together developers and users of modern software frameworks for the numerical solution of partial differential equations.

Among others, representatives of the deal.II, MFEM, Firedrake, and NGSolve projects presented recent developments and shared insights into new methods and applications. Beyond the scientific presentations, the conference provided an excellent opportunity for lively discussions, networking, and the exchange of ideas, leading to plans for future collaborations and joint research projects.

We thank all speakers and participants for making PDESoft 2026 an inspiring and highly successful event at TU Wien.
