Program Structure:

  • The Summer Program includes the Subject-Based Course and the Japanese Language Course.
  • The Subject-Based Course consists of Lectures, Project Work, and a Japanese culture component offered across the Subject-Based Course.
  • The Project Work component will consist of both an online and in-person component.
  • The online component will begin on July 6, 2026, followed by the in-person component starting on July 22, 2026.
  • The Japanese language course will include online conversation practice with our university’s student buddies starting around July 6, 2026.
  • The Opening Ceremony and Course Orientation are scheduled for the afternoon of July 21. Participants are advised to arrive in Japan by July 20 to be well prepared.

All participants will be assigned a student buddie from our university. We look forward to welcoming students who will enjoy the buddy activities.

Accommodation Arrangements:

Starting in 2025, students will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation in Japan. Unfortunately, our university dormitories will not be available for short-term program participants. However, we can assist with finding accommodation if needed, but students need to make their own reservations. We appreciate your understanding.
