As with the previous MOVE-Walks, we rode together aby bike, this time focusing intensively on safety issues and the design of cycling infrastructure.

Starting from the Danube Canal, we moved through Augarten, across the 20th and the 9th district. Marlene provided us with valuable insights into the work of KFV and explained how different legal regulations and the design of cycling infrastructure significantly influence safety in cycling traffic.

At the same time, the students were encouraged to consider the perspectives of various groups, such as children and cargo bike users. The subsequent reflection by the students highlighted that the sense of safety in cycling can vary greatly subjectively, indicating that there is still much room for improvement.
