The aim of MObility MOnday was to discuss suitable everyday solutions and develop concrete approaches, especially for those without a car or driving licence.

Following welcomes from the mayor of Groß Gerungs and the KLAR regional manager, a panel discussion explored existing mobility initiatives in the region. Representatives from municipalities, social organisations and volunteer transport services shared their experiences, challenges and success factors. Particular focus was placed on the mobility of older people, as well as the significant social value of voluntary and neighbourhood services.

Subsequently, in a workshop, participants identified key everyday journeys, such as visits to the doctor, shopping and socialising, as being particularly difficult to access. Priority solutions identified were the expansion of volunteer transport services, better networking of existing services, and organised neighbourhood assistance.

These results will now form an important basis for further steps in land.mobil:LAB. Additionally, posters from bachelor's theses at TU Wien sparked discussion about the relationship between mobility and healthcare in rural areas.

The evening ended with informal networking and exchanges.
Outlook: The series of events will continue before the summer, focusing on car sharing.
