Both took part in the workshop "Robots and Embodied Agents in Collaborative Construction" at the Robotic Fabrication Laboratory, diving deep into how robots and autonomous systems are becoming active collaborators on construction sites - blurring established professional boundaries and opening new modes of working.

At the heart of the symposium: the accelerating convergence of AI, extended reality, and robotics in AEC - and what this means for human capability, authorship, and the future of practice. Topics that resonate directly with our own research, where robotics in construction is at the core of our work, with visual computing and (vision-)language models as essential components for perceiving and interacting with the built environment.

Inspiring keynotes, stimulating discussions, and an insightful exchange with international researchers - all feeding directly into questions we are actively pursuing in our own work. We came back with new perspectives and fresh momentum. Stay tuned, there is more to come!
