After Leiden and Berlin, Vienna was chosen for this year’s event: The third FDO conference will take place from 24 to 27 March 2026 in TU Wien’s beautiful Kuppelsaal.

What can you expect:

  • 3 panels on FDO Motivation, Interoperability and Security aspects
  • Three keynote talks by Thomas Hahn (leading EU’s BDVA private partnership program), Cathrin Stöver (CCO GEANT) and Sanzio Bassini (CINECA) will explain views on the future development of the global data domain and the challenges to be overcome
  • The first day will bring views from international top experts on trust requirements, on ways how trust dimensions such as data sovereignty, transparency/traceability, accountability and persistence may be implemented by combining dataspace approaches and FDOs. A panel on possible concrete actions will conclude this day.
