European Spatial Policies and Instruments: Field Trip to Leibniz University Hanover

From June 11 to 12 June 2026, master’s students of spatial planning and architecture at TU Wien visited Leibniz University Hanover, opens an external URL in a new window as part of the course “European Spatial Policies and Instruments.” The field trip to Hanover took place as part of the European University Alliance EULiST, opens an external URL in a new window.

In Hanover, the students discussed European regional policy instruments with the Lower Saxony Ministry of Federal and European Affairs and Regional Development as well as with the Hanover Region. The focus was on the application and impact of these instruments as well as on the exchange between academia and regional practice.

Part of the excursion costs were kindly covered by the Dean's Office.
