The first half-day was devoted to sharing meals, exchanging experiences, and brainstorming topics. On the second day, which was moderated by Christoph Liptay, we spent the morning discussing issues related to collaboration, internal communication, and organization. The afternoon focused on research: which projects and grant proposals are currently underway, what are the current topics, where do we want to go in the future, and how can we achieve our goals.  
Held in an inspiring setting surrounded by vineyards, the retreat thus marked a productive start to the joint development of the research division under new leadership.
