With the successful completion of the infrastructure for the eMOTION Lab at the Campus Science Centre, TU Wien has reached an important milestone in research into electric propulsion systems. The state-of-the-art inverter test bench went into operation in late June 2026. 
The eMOTION Lab provides state-of-the-art testing and research facilities for the development of innovative e-mobility technologies and reinforces TU Wien’s position as a leading centre for research and innovation in the field of future mobility.
