On 18 and 19 January 2026, the European Conference of Presidents of Regional Parliaments took place in Luxembourg. The conference includes the presidents of the German and Austrian state parliaments and the South Tyrolean state parliament, as well as representatives from the German Bundestag, the German and Austrian Bundesrat, and the German-speaking community of Belgium. Franziska Sielker was invited to give a keynote speech on the topic of cross-border cooperation.
