New staff member at SRF: Paul Klema

Paul Klema has been working as a university assistant (Praedoc) at the SRF since February 2026 and is responsible for coordinating the Research School Transformations in Architecture and Planning. His current research focuses in particular on the governance of metropolitan regions in the context of socio-ecological transformation processes and the resulting conflicts of transformation.

Previously, Paul studied urban planning at TU Wien, including a semester in Paris (Sorbonne Université), and worked for several years at a Vienna-based urban planning company on international research and planning projects.
