During the final week of the 2026 summer semester, the Baukultur Marketplace took place as the culmination of Master’s elective module 2, “Spatial Planning in Rural and Alpine Areas.” Ten groups, each consisting of architecture and spatial planning students, examined various municipalities that had submitted entries for the fifth LandLuft Building Culture Municipal Award.

At the exhibition at the ADEG at TU Wien, they presented their findings: analyses of key projects, a chronology of architectural culture, distinctive features of the municipality they studied, a comparison of all ten municipalities, as well as short films and diaries from their independent field trips. Also on display were works from courses at FH Joanneum Graz and the Institute of Art and Design at TU Wien that focused on the design of the new LandLuft exhibition.

Despite the summery temperatures, it was an exciting evening with many visitors. Many thanks to the students and faculty who prepared and organized the exhibition!
