This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Finnish Environment Institute (Syke). Our Finnish colleagues presented a comprehensive and detailed plastic balance model for Finland. We also discussed the application of our modeling software STAN, as well as the possible integration of data uncertainties. In addition, Stefani Rivić presented her economic-mathematical model of the Austrian packaging plastics cycle.

The exchange was highly productive and led to a shared interest in future collaboration.
