Last week, Helene Dreier and Vincent Idel visited Darmstadt for the 45th 'Assistant*innentreffen der deutschsprachigen siedlungswasserwirtschaftlichen Institute', (Meeting of young assistants from German-speaking institutes in the field of water quality management) hosted by IWAR at Technische Universität Darmstadt.
Over the course of four days, they had the chance to meet fellow early-career researchers working in the field of wastewater treatment, exchange ideas, discuss research challenges, and, of course, enjoy some time exploring Darmstadt together.
The annual research assistants’ meeting offers a unique opportunity to connect with people working on similar topics, share experiences, and realize that many of the challenges we face in research are shared across institutes.
A big thank you to the whole IWAR team for hosting such a fun, interesting, and very welcoming few days! We’re already looking forward to next year.
