After an extended period of changing locations, the Biophysics research area at the Getreidemarkt campus has moved into its new, permanent home in the BF Building. This relocation marks an important milestone: modern office spaces, new laboratories, and improved infrastructure provide optimal conditions for innovative research and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The completion and occupation of the final rooms were celebrated on December 10, 2025, with a small institute gathering. Over drinks and cake, colleagues and guests had the opportunity to tour the new laboratories and offices, gain insights into ongoing research projects, and explore the new opportunities offered by the location.
New rooms. New laboratories. New opportunities.
With the move into the BF Building, Biophysics at Getreidemarkt has not only arrived, but is also well prepared to meet future scientific challenges.
