Amalio Fernández-Pacheco joins the EMA General Council representing Austria

The European Magnetism Association, opens an external URL in a new window has announced new members of its General Council, including Amalio Fernández-Pacheco, who will represent Austria.

EMA is a non-profit organisation that promotes the development of magnetism and magnetic materials in Europe. It supports the magnetism community by increasing the visibility and impact of research, fostering education and training, connecting researchers and industry, and representing the field in science-policy discussions. Its activities include major community events such as the Joint European Magnetic Symposia and the European School on Magnetism.

This appointment recognises Amalio’s active role in the magnetism community and offers an opportunity to contribute to the coordination and development of magnetism research across Europe.
