To be considered for a partial scholarship, your application documents must reach us complete and on time. Please therefore observe the stated submission deadlines.

The scholarships are aimed at self-funding applicants. Applications already in progress and current participants unfortunately cannot be considered. A scholarship noticeably reduces your participation fee – your own contribution covers only the remaining amount (excluding travel, accommodation and any costs for excursions or study trips).

Please note:

• TU Wien Academy awards partial scholarships only, not full scholarships.
• Scholarships cannot be combined with other reductions or discount campaigns.
• Legal recourse is excluded. All applications are of course treated in strict confidence.

• Target group: All female applicants to the Executive MBA programmes. Applications are only possible for the next programme start.
• Type of funding: Partial scholarship of up to 30% of the participation fee

• Selection criteria: In addition to financial considerations, the selection committee takes into account:
  • Your motivation and career goals
  • Social skills and ability to work in a team
  • Analytical skills
  • Potential contribution to peer learning
  • Diversity within the participant cohort
  • Language skills
  • Professional background and development potential
    If two applicants are equally qualified, preference is given to the person with the higher demonstrated financial need.
• Selection process: Once we have received your complete application documents, we will invite you to an admission interview. This is your opportunity to present your motivation, your goals and your possible contribution to the programme in person. A committee then decides promptly on the award and the amount of the scholarship.
• Application: In addition to your regular application, we need further details for the scholarship application:
  • A letter of motivation referring to your professional situation, your ideas for your further development and a detailed justification of why you need the scholarship & your plan for financing the remaining MBA fee
  • Proof of financial need for the scholarship (proof of salary)

AK Bildungsbonus (Chamber of Labour)

Annual support for members of the Chamber of Labour:

• Vienna: €150 per year, plus €50 during parental leave, plus a Digi-Bonus of €150
• Lower Austria: 50% of course fees up to €150 (job seekers: 100% up to €220)
• Upper Austria: 40% of course fees up to €150, plus a Leistungskarte discount

Bildungskonto for everyone:

• Funding amount: Up to €500 (50% of course fees)
• Target group: All Vienna residents, employed or unemployed

Educational leave & part-time educational leave (Bildungskarenz & Bildungsteilzeit NEU):

• Bildungskarenz: Up to 12 months of leave with a training allowance
• Bildungsteilzeit: Reduction of working hours by 25–50% with partial wage compensation
