Bettina Roethlin, ETIA graduate and winner of the 2019 ARA Best Study Award, is one of them: “I am thankful to ARA for their support of the ETIA program by ways of the Best Study Award. Not only does it provide an incentive to strive for excellence, but it also underlines the importance of the subjects that are taught in great range and depth during the program. The award also served as a great reference and an encouragement when starting my professional career.”

Career Moves since Graduating

“Shortly after graduation, I spent several months in Tehran, Iran, to pursue an internship with the Austrian Economic Chamber which allowed me to both expand my horizon whilst gaining international work experience. Upon my return to Austria, I started working at the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology, where I was involved in the preparation of Austria's first Voluntary National Review on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, among other interesting tasks. Currently, I am working in the Sustainability and Public Affairs Team at Borealis AG on topics such as recycling, circular economy and the sustainability of plastics.”
