On November 7, we proudly welcomed the 20th cohort of the MSc Renewable Energy Systems program, a joint venture between TU Wien – Academy for Continuing Education (ACE) and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha. This diverse and motivated group of students is embarking on an exciting two-year journey full of opportunities for personal and professional growth in renewable energy. We are thrilled to support them as they take on this challenge and contribute to shaping a sustainable future.

This year’s cohort brings inspiring stories and unique connections: from a student following in the footsteps of an alumnus parent to two students who discovered they had met before on a geothermal trip in Iceland, where they even encountered one of our lecturers. These moments remind us of how interconnected and supportive the renewable energy community truly is.

With 18 students representing 12 countries, an average age of 32, and an equal gender balance, this group exemplifies both diversity and shared dedication. As we approach 20 years of this pioneering program, we celebrate all past and present students who have committed to advancing the field of renewable energy.
