The aim of the Immo FutureLab is to seize future-oriented topics in order to present innovative approaches and to explore development opportunities - this year on the topic “Alliances - Developing strength for the future of the real estate management together”.

The TU Wien Academy for ContinuingEducation has participated once more as a cooperation partner. As a pioneer of university education in the domain of real estate with 33 years of experience, the TU Academy is committed to the future of the real estate industry and is building alliances to work towards this common goal.

The future challenges of the real estate industry are abundant. In addition to economic aspects, issues such as sustainability, new technologies and new legal requirements are adding to the complexity of projects. This complexity multiplies the different interests and increases the potential for conflicts. This means it is a matter of breaking new ground in order to achieve more effective and smoother processes through alliances. Twelve speakers with a variety of expertise provided insights into new approaches, implementation possibilities, practical examples and outlooks on this new ground.

In the final lecture, Professor Alexander Redlein, academic director of Modern Workplace & Facility Management at the TU Wien Academy, was able to show the essential role of universities as innovation drivers in their alliance with the industry.
