Dejan Stojanovic is a “Failure Enthusiast” and entrepreneur who has been committed for many years to breaking down the stigma surrounding failure and promoting a positive culture of learning from mistakes. Through initiatives such as the Failure Institute and formats like Fuckup Nights Vienna, he creates platforms where organizations and individuals can openly discuss failures and learn from real-world experiences.
He focuses on leadership, innovation, and failure culture, combining practical experience with a clear strategic perspective. At the core of his approach is the belief that organizations do not become innovative by avoiding mistakes, but by developing the ability to deal with them constructively. Especially in technology-driven environments, setbacks and failed projects are inevitable—the key question is whether they are openly reflected upon or quietly ignored.
Leadership plays a central role in this context: a true culture of failure is not created through stated values, but through concrete behavior in critical moments. Leaders who communicate transparently and take responsibility build trust, foster learning processes, and sustainably strengthen the innovative capacity of their organizations.
