Changing technological developments and the future of work

The event, organized by DHK and Fraunhofer Austria, offers a unique platform for exchange with CEOs and experts from business and science. The focus is on future-oriented topics such as sustainability for industrial companies, changes in the energy industry, the effects of the shortage of skilled workers, success factors of digitalization and automation as well as future prospects for people and technology.

Prof. Dr. Wilfried Sihn, Senior Advisor at Fraunhofer Austria Research and Academic Director of the Executive MBA Automotive Management,, opens in new window has once again agreed to moderate the Technology Forum 2024: "Digitalization and new technologies are the key to ensuring responsible action for society and the economy. Research and science play a particularly important role here and help to bring new and innovative approaches to industry through the correct use of artificial intelligence or IoT, for example. The keynote speaker at the "Dinner Night of Innovation" is Prof. Dr. Antonio Krüger, CEO of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence GmbH (DFKI), where he is Scientific Director of the "Cognitive Assistance Systems" research department. On the topic of "AI as a transformation tool", the expert will explain the role of AI as a transformative technology, how the economy can benefit from it and discuss the technological race between the USA, China and the EU.
