Alumni TUesday Expert Talk

Creating Mobility for the People

[Translate to English:] Christina Hubin

Increasing urbanisation, growing population and continuing digitalization pose challenges for cities and communities – and offer high potential for change at the same time. Rethinking existing systems and offering new services for mobility, cities and communities will enhance the quality of life for their citizens.

There is a shift from motorized individual transport towards the trend of mobility as a service. Due to this development and the impact of increasing digitalization, cities and communities are challenged to provide non-discriminatory mobility – for everyone, regardless of age, place of residence or income.

The next Expert Talk as part of Alumni TUesday of the TU Wien Academy will therefore focus on digital services for personal mobility.

Our guest will be Christina Hubin, Head of Strategy & Communication at Upstream - next level mobility GmbH, opens an external URL in a new window and lecturer in the Executive MBA Program Mobility Transformation, opens in new window. As an expert in the field of “Digitization of passenger mobility", she will talk about the actual needs (IT integration platforms, partner management, data science, etc.) and how the know-how of networked technologies and services can be relevant for the goals of the City of Vienna (Smart City).
