We are excited to host the first-ever joint workshop between our Computational Statistics group and the Star formation and ISM group of Prof. Joao Alves, öffnet eine externe URL in einem neuen Fenster from the University Vienna, on May 26, 2026. During this one-day workshop, we will focus on furthering interdisciplinary research and finding synergies between the noisy data regime of astronomy and the robust methods developed in our group. A special focus will be placed on supporting early career researchers (Master’s and PhD students). We aim to forge a lasting connection between our two research groups.
