Our former colleague Arabel Long (Amann) has been awarded the highly prestigious Dr. Ernst Fehrer Prize for her PhD thesis: "Multi-objective analysis of nutrient use and recycling under consideration of economic conditions and regional structures".
This prize makes us particularly happy for two reasons:

• Arabel has undoubtedly deserved recognition for her outstanding work
• We are also glad that the highly relevant topic of phosphorus management and recycling, to which our team has dedicated great efforts over the past decade, resulting in multiple PhD theses and concrete changes in legislation, has received such attention and recognition.
