Mladen Jadric

Mladen Jadric is a practicing architect and instructor of architecture in Vienna. He has completed diverse architectural and urban planning projects of all sizes in Europe, the USA and Asia. Since 1997, he has taught at the TU Wien at the Institute for Architecture and Design in the Research Unit Building Construction and Design and has taught as a visiting professor and guest lecturer at many universities in Europe, the USA, Asia, Australia and South America. His work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, MIT, Cooper Union, Roger Williams University (USA), Alvar Aalto University (Finnland), the Venice Biennale of Architecture, Museo Hendrik Christian Andersen in Rome, Tongji University in Shanghai, the World Architectural Triennale in Tokyo, Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan and Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism in South Korea. His work has been awarded the Outstanding Artist Award for experimental tendencies in architecture in Austria, as well as the Grand Prize by Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City in South Korea. In addition, he received the Karl Scheffel Prize and the Schorsch architecture award from the city of Vienna for outstanding architectural projects in Vienna. Mladen Jadric is also a member of the Künstlerhaus [Künstlerhaus, Association of Austrian Artists] in Vienna, and deputy Section Chair of the Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Consulting Engineering for Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland.
