Secure LINK-based holistic architecture for smart grid operation

LINK is the radically new approach to Smart Grids. Developed at the TU Wien under the guidance of Dr. Albana Ilo, the link paradigm can meet future requirements of a modern power grid. The increase in renewable energies and the installation of decentralized power plants are changing the quantitative structure of electricity supply. LINK intervenes at this point by providing communication across the supply levels and thereby exchanging minimal amount of data.
